The Kasmira line features beautiful created 8mm diameter round opal cabochons set into our precious metal cab mounts. For those that aren't aware of it, created Opal gemstones are actually preferred to natural opal in many jewelry items and designs. Natural Opal is not particularly well-suited to being used in jewelry since it's a relatively soft gemstone, breaks easily, requires ongoing care and maintenance, and has to be protected from heat, sunlight and many chemicals.
